The brief
Ridgeline is a fictional two-van plumbing and gas business. The owner does good work and gets most jobs from word of mouth, but new customers search on their phones, land on an old desktop-only website, and ring a number nobody can answer while they’re on a job.
What we designed
Big “Call now” and “Book a plumber” buttons, emergency info at the top, suburb pages for the areas they actually cover, licence and insurance up front.
Four quick questions — what’s wrong, where, how urgent, a photo — so the owner can quote without a callback.
Sorts burst pipes from dripping taps. Emergencies are put through to the on-call mobile; everything else is booked or summarised by text.
The receptionist
“Thanks for calling Ridgeline Plumbing, this is the virtual receptionist. Is this an emergency, or are you after a quote?”
